With 20 moves that have to be made today to get to the 53 man roster, the Bills have released, RB Duke Johnson, WR Tanner Gentry, TE O.J. Howard, OL Alec Anderson, DT Brandin Bryant, DT CJ Brewer, RB Raheem Blackshear, DL Prince Emili, WR Isaiah Hodgins, OL Luke Tenuta, OB Matt Barkley, OL Greg Mancz, DE Mike Love, DE Kingsley Jonathan, LB joe Giles-Harris, DB Nick McCloud and Ja'Marcus Ingram
The waiver period now begins with teams able to submit a claim on any released/waived player with less than 4 years in the league to their practice squad. Any player with 4 or more years in the league, can be signed immediately.
With 16 positions on the practice squad, up from 12 last year, some of the players released by the Bills today will end up back in the fold.
LB Andre Smith was placed on the reserve/suspended list and DT Eli Ankou was released with an injury settlement. Tre'Davious White was also placed on the PUP list. Meaning he will be out at least the first four weeks of the season.
