The "First Day" signals the official start of the team's structured offseason preparation, allowing players to begin working together as a unit and building towards the upcoming season.

The first two weeks of the program are dedicated to Phase One, where players are primarily involved in team meetings, strength and conditioning workouts at the team facility, and physical rehabilitation.

Phase Two allows for on-field workouts with individual and group drills, but without live contact. Phase Three, which includes Organized Team Activities (OTAs) and mandatory minicamp, allows for more extensive on-field work, including drills like 7-on-7, 9-on-7, and 11-on-11, but still without live contact.
