Do you prefer Gin or Vodka martinis?

I've been experimenting with both and have not made a hard fast decision. Just tried one with Bombay Sapphire. Wasn't bad but I think I like traditional Gin better. Enjoyed my Vodka based martinis with Absolut too.

Really don’t drink them.  Maybe 1 in last 5 years. At a distillery.

I do not like gin (except for a few really floral ones). There are some nice floral craft gins, but gin is not something I choose when given a choice of gin or any other liquor in the world. 

 

To me, vodka is bland. Probably why it is so easy to infuse (I make vanilla with vodka).

In the Summertime, I love gin and tonics. Put a wedge of lime and lemon in them and it is quite refreshing. Though expensive, I do like the Bombay Sapphire and it is generally what I purchase.

Gin gets me in a weird mood... sometimes nasty.

Vodka used to be my drink of choice (mostly V&T, but the occasional Martini.)

But you know the old saying, "One martini, two martini, three martini, floor!"

Swore off vodka a couple of months ago. Drinking some Scotch these days, and Bourbon Manhattans.

Also a fan of Sapphire.  A G&T to cool you down on a hot summer day is one of life's true pleasures.

Sapphire gimlet is my favorite drink, by a mile.

Very rarely stray from beer..but sometimes i have a Vodka Gibson...gibson is with the little cocktail onions. Do not like olives.

 

@Ann, my wife has a Hendricks and Fever Tree Cucumber Tonic every night, if you like cucumber, you would like that gin!

I alternate between the two but it's always top shelf or it's not worth the effort.
