Drove in from NH today and stopped by my favorite tavern on my way to my mothers house and this is what I saw...

It certainly has been some time when it rained like that here. Heavy most of the day and all day.

Spent the ENTIRE day turning utility pumps on & off.  Can't recall seeing a steady rain like that continuing nearly unabated for a full 24 hours+ except during a hurricane.  And even with that, you get a couple hour respite when the eye passes over.

Nowhere for the water to drain into.  Everything was completely saturated.

I believe this was taken near Niagara falls:

Somebody warn Dan! There are killer whales in the streets!: DanLeBatardShow

Nobody out here would complain....

My company is based in Northern CA and every year, it gets dicey with wind and fires.

There is so much rain everywhere, but where it needs to be. WTF.

Yeah, gonna be seriously ugly next year if we don't get a big winter in the mountains.

Let me assure you, it is usually little more than a trickle.

Can't say as I've ever seen it like that before, even during a spring melt.

Somebody just within the last two days was saying that the Mount Morris Dam is better than 2/3 full.  Is this correct?

Local news in Rochester said that the Lockport area got over 5 inches of rain in localized spots.

We got 2 inches here in Henrietta.

so Greta is right? Where do I turn in all my internal combustion engines?
