They are playing very hard. Okposo looks 10 years younger. Skinner showed up. Cozens looks really promising.

Sabres look like a brand new team.  They played very fast.  Fast in transition, fast to move the puck, fast on the forecheck.  They forced a lot of turnovers in the offensive zone and were tough to play against for 55 of 60 minutes.  I am impressed. 

 

Its a long season and I don't think they will win a ton of games as teams settle in but if they bring that effort I'm all for giving Granato a few years to see what he can do.
