Also won the "AFC Stupid Eye Black Of the Month" award for the seventh consecutive month.  A record second only to John Randle.

You just don't get it, do you? Bass put the eye black on after his early struggles and that eye black brought balance back into his kicking. Sorta like Nuke, with the breathing through the eyes bit.

I'm super happy he's on this team. 

When a long kick can decide things, on grass, in a large brand new West-coast stadium in February, I'm gonna put my faith in him.
