Star Lotulelei on Reserve/Covid-19 list

He will at least miss this week vs NYJ.  Star opted out last year supposedly because he has a health condition that could exacerbate if he got Covid.  Not sure if Star is vaccinated.

Hope it is not a serious case of Covid, both for Star's underlying health condition as well as the fact that the Bills are down to pretty much no one else at the 1Tech position.  Per the article, Brandon Bryant has been elevated from the practice squad.

Thanks.  Nope, first thread start.  Pretty intuitive using the environment, plus I've used many different types of software products and systems for work.  Also was surfing around and saw this on the Buffalo Bills site, not sure how many people know about Star; plus I figure it will probably morph into a larger conversation regarding Star such as do we bring him back, is it worth it to extend him another year, did he pan out the way we hoped, etc.

I saw in one of the media/beat reporter's tweets that Star could miss two weeks.  We'll see this coming week.

He's unvaxxxed - he was a close contact in August and it was pointed out that he had to wait 10 days to return.

Unless Star got vaxxed recently, looks like he is probably out for the Indy game.

If now vaccinated, Lotueleli needs to provide two negative tests for COVID, back-to-back, 24 hours apart. As long as he is also symptom free, he’s good to return to the team.

If unvaccinated, Lotulelei is out for 10 days and that’s it. That means he would not play vs. the Colts. This same situation just unfolded last week for the Green Bay Packers and quarterback Aaron Rodgers.

While in no way a sign of anything, it is worth noting Buffalo did protect two defensive tackles on their practice squad this week ahead of hosting Indy.
