Is defensive holding prior to the pass still ok if the pass is deflected?

 

Edit: nevermind. I realized that DBs don’t get called for penalties when Josh Allen is throwing the ball.

He got lucky....clearly knew he was beat to the inside and he's coached to never let that happen since he'll only be flagged half the time at most.   Got bailed out by the tip.

Same time. That said, hold gets you on the 1yd like. No hold gets 6. Smart move by DB
