I dont see it the same. He realizes this may screw him but for the future of the game he is willing to take the lumps for future coach considerations. We all know that many are interviewed because they are black and the GM has to check that off. Thats the problem with forcing something like this rule. It becomes a checkmark rather than a moral decision. This may be an unpopular statement but rules like this cause issues BECAUSE the world is full of creeps that force masks in public and take them behind closed doors.

Seriously though...what's better than watching them set themselves up for absolute failure?  Lose a buncha games...then win a buncha games.  Have your season come down to needing a big win - and just get curb stomped.
