1) Pele

2) Georgio Canaligna (or something like that - he was the main guy for the NY Cosmos when I was a kid)

3) Beckham (married the hot Spice Girl), did a lot of commercials.

4) Rooney (probably would have forgotten him if I hadn’t just seen a show about him).  Seems like the Connor McGregor of soccer.

5) Maradona - Brazil (I think) star

6) Reynoldo - Spain (I think) star

7) Freddie a-du (something like that) - US phenom turned bust.

9) Dempsey - Captain (?) of previous God-awful US World Cup teams

10) Forget his name, but there’s a dude on the current US team that looks like DK Metcalf;  I can’t tell if he’s any good at soccer, but he looks like he could rip the head off any other guy on the field so wondering why we don’t have 11 guys like that and just beat the shit out of the people.
