Pickleball Anyone?

I've been playing a fair amount of Pickleball lately, my daughter and son-in-law got my wife and I to try it, and we really enjoy it. I bought a set of cheap wooden paddles which are fine for learning with, and our town recently bulldozed 3 tennis courts in the park near us and built 10 Pickleball courts which are lit until 10pm.

Some tennis, some badminton, even a little ping-pong. It took about 5 games to get the hang of and and remember the different rules. I'm a senior citizen, so tennis was getting to be a strain on my feet and joints. Singles Pickleball is still a good workout, but doubles is easier. It's a lot of fun, still a bit of exercise, and a good activity for you and your SO.

Anyone else playing? Got any tips or stories to share?? I hear it's becoming quite a social thing and some people take it very seriously.
