Olive oil, Apple cider vinegar do you take it every day?

I was doing the apple cider vinegar table spoon beginning of last year. For about 8 months lost 25 lbs.  now with 

not using it I have put 15 lbs back on.  
also felt great when doing it. 
tablespoon with 12 oz of water. 
going to restart on Monday. 
also have friends that do olive oil every day. 
 

anyone do this ? 
 

going back to eating beats at least one time a week.

Just started the olive oil thing. Might try the AC vinegar too. Could stand to drop a few lbs.

Just started the AC vinegar today. I’ll let you know how it goes.

Started 1 tablespoon of the olive oil. 
 

May try putting it on toast tomorrow morning. Moved the vinegar to late afternoon.

Mead, you know you can just mix the oil and vinegar and make a great salad dressing:classic_laugh:

Scientific question, what is the mechanism for how it causes weight loss? Is it something to do with the vinegar aiding in digestion? I had my gall bladder removed about 8 years ago and I have to supplement with ox bile sometimes which helps keep off some pounds.

Basically, the weak acid aids fat metabolism by increasing the rate your body burns fat, and it also is said to reduces fat storage. Whether it does so directly, or indirectly by boosting beneficial gut bacteria, is debatable. 

 

Just be careful if you are on diuretics (water pills) or insulin, because the vinegar could drop your potassium level.......not good.

I had some AC gummies I was taking daily and along with some intermittent fasting (really just holding off bfast until 1030 or 11) I dropped 5 lbs quickly.
