Grilled Rubens are a favorite of ours.
Marble rye/pumpernickel bread

Russian Dressing

Corned Beef Slices piled high

A layer of Sauerkraut

A layer of Swiss Cheese

Topped with another slice of the bread

Butter both outside faces of the bread

Grill on both sides for about 5 - 7 minutes or till bread is toasted and the cheese is melted.

If you don’t have a solid flattop grill, wrap and seal sandwiches in aluminum foil and cook on the racks.

Drink copious amounts of your favorite brews while you’re cooking and while you’re eating.

:wondering: You mean there is another way to prepare a Ruben? Who knew.

Seriously though, bought a Panini press not long ago. I didn't think of it yet but you have just told me that I have to try a Ruben sammy on it.

TY!
