Sudan - WWIII's New Front?

Foxx

Recommended Posts

Sudan has been flying under the radar a bit but shit is beginning to hit the fan.

Apparently, back in February, Sudan announced it was going to allow Russia to build a naval base. Then in April, Sudan's government faced a violent coup attempt (gee, I wonder who could be behind that).

February: Sudan announced a Russian naval base. April: Sudan faces violent coup attempt. CNN: Russia seeks to topple Sudan's government for agreeing to construct a Russian naval base.

Of course, Victoria Nuland visited Sudan in March.

The US bringing democracy: When Sudan in February agrees to a Russian navel base on the Red Sea, Victoria Nuland 'suddenly' decides to visit Sudan in March. After her visit a civil war breaks out. The Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF), against the Rapid Support Forces (RSF).

Afghanistan all over again?

DEVELOPING: Americans stranded in Sudan with no evacuation plans by @JoeBiden. There are 16,000 Americans registered in Sudan, many others do not register. People contacting me to say their relatives and colleagues and pastors are stranded in Sudan. Saudi Arabia and others have evacuated their citizens while the US has only evacuated government personnel. With the US Embassy shut and government personnel evacuated, it's difficult to coordinate the evacuation of other Americans stranded in Sudan. Many relatives worried as another US embassy shut. #Sudan #Evacuation

Now we know why the major upheaval in the Lame Stream Media today (look at this hand, no not that one).

War Powers Resolution Submitted

President Biden has submitted a War Powers Resolution to Congress regarding the Deployment of U.S. Military Forces to Djibouti, Ethiopia, and Sudan to assist with the Evacuation of U.S. Diplomats and Foreign Nationals still in Sudan.

A Timeline of Events.

We're About To Invade Sudan

A Timeline in a Tweet.

Background:

A Russian military base in the Red Sea.. The rapprochement between Khartoum and Moscow raises American concern

Of course, the previous administration of Sudan was overthrown after agreeing in principal to the Russian base.

Biden's Benghazi: Sudan Embassy Evacuated, One American Dead, Thousands Left Behind

16,000 Americans

NEW: Rep. Mike McCaul (Chair of House Foreign Affairs) has sent Sec of State Anthony Blinken a letter expressing "grave concerns" about the safety of American citizens in war torn Sudan.

One good thing has come of all this.

BREAKING: Sources reveal Susan Rice has been fired by President Biden. Rice has been responsible for the Afghan surrender, the Ukraine proxy war, Taiwanese escalation, and most recently the decision to abandon thousands of Americans in Sudan.

Well, if you want a region which is ripe for a messy conflict, you probably couldn’t pick a better spot.

Aside from the fact that the Suez Canal is right nearby…

This is a good article about the US base in Djibouti, and the presence of China and the Saudis in Djibouti.  It is from 2016.  It was written after John Kerry went to Djibouti and basically called their President a corrupt scumbag who would never be re-elected (he was) at a press conference where the two men stood next to each other.  The US has maintained a base there but now, since 2016, they have a Chinese base next to them — only 20 miles away.

In addition to Russians and Chinese and Saudis in the region, Egypt has been threatening a conflict over the Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam, and they were using the Sudanese army as a proxy/ally against the Ethiopians.  Egypt asserts a lot of influence in the area and unrest in Sudan is probably bad for them.

And Ethiopia is just coming off of a civil war involving the Tigre people.  The TPLF (described as a Marxist militia of the worst sort https://www.marxists.org/history/erol/ethiopia/tigray-program.pdf) was backed by the US (and lost).  Now the President’s ruling party which is based on Oromo ethnicity is trying to violently assert itself over other ethnic people living in the country.  So, even though Ethiopia could absolutely be a booming success and a major hegemon in the region, they can’t get out of their own way. This is an op-Ed, but it describes the situation:

Since the Obama Administration, the US has done a masterful job of pushing the Third World into the arms of China and Russia.

Oh how quickly they forget.

National Security adviser Jake Sullivan says government can’t dictate where free Americans go

We aren't responsible for the Americans in Sudan.

It has turned into a "Coalition of the Sanctioned, Tariffed, and Bullied, and Those Who Do Business With Them".

...or CSTBTWDBWT for short.

Not only that, the present Administration NEVER explains to the American people what it is doing or why when it comes to foreign policy. Our President is incapable of explaining it on his own, and he's  incapable of taking questions about what he does.  So this particular Administration is actually worse than the previous two.

Then why do Americans need special permission from the Secretary of State to travel to North Korea?

Are we in for another game of the establishment saying the biolabs don't exist for months, only to later come around and say they do but it's irrelevant?

Sudan's has some of the worst rates of measles and cholera on the planet, and is a source for Ebola and Marburg.

Of course there's biolabs there.  They've been doing disease surveillance for more than 50 years.

Edit: And polio.  Forgot polio.

And side note: you know what's one of the weirdest coincidences of the 20th century?  The first identified outbreaks of Ebola were in Zaire and Sudan, both at the same time (almost to the day), and completely unrelated to each other (eventually proved by genetic analysis of the different viruses.)  Nowadays, that would certainly be a "bioweapon" conspiracy theory.

Truth. But when have facts mattered to the narrative machine? I expect the MSM to do what the MSM always does in these cases.

Fauci has been funding Khartoumish Giant research for years.  But thats not news.  The real story is that the Fauci funded labs accidentally made Covid instead of Khartoumish Giants.  Kinda like penicillin, it was a happy little accident.
