Thanks, man! He was a preemie. Mom's health was in jeopardy so they delivered him at 34 weeks. You're pretty good, though! He just celebrated 4 months (though it's more like 2.5 months).

5 weeks?  That's no big deal.  I was five weeks' premature, look how I turned out.

 

 

(I was nearly 10 lbs delivered at 34 weeks.  My mom's damned lucky I was early.)

Thanks for asking. 🙂 She's all better now. She had placenta previa and was in the hospital most of December. When the blood loss became unsustainable, they opted to deliver him. It was the day after Christmas.

Was it relatively uneventful after they brought you home? Josh has been back to the hospital three times, mostly due to respiratory infections and crazy-high fever. (Our kindergartener brings home every strain of everything imaginable).
