Nanker
Sarkisian’s been around quite awhile. He worked with Pete Carrol, Kiffin, and Sabin. Was a QB in college, played in the CFL, then started coaching in the NFL and college. He’s been out west most of his career. Not sure that’s an exciting hire if I were a Texas fan. Hedge
As a Longhorn fan, I hope this isn’t true. He had had alcohol issues at multiple programs (Washington and USC spring to mind).

Hedge
@Billsandhorns (and if anyone else cares and gets the channel) Today on the Longhorn Network, kickoff ~2PM eastern: @Ann Could we please get a thread title change to something more generic now like “Texas Longhorns”?

KD in CA
At least it's not Alabama, OSU or Clemson. College football is better when Texas, Michigan, USC and Notre Dame are good.

No one deserves a job based on their uncle's accomplishments.
