I'm thinking they were only offered a 5th, possibly a 6th.

 

Ertz only has this next year on his contract @ $12.5 mm. I would think that one of the conditions that we get him, is him signing an extension to offset his cost this year.

Ertz keeps saying there will be no extension with the new team. That's probably why everyone is staying away. Philly wants a 3rd or a 4th -- I don't see that happening for rental.

I can't see us swallowing that pill in a salary cap reduced year. We still have the draft and at least one or two other free agent acquisitions to be concerned about.
