The pool I was running had a winner week 1 (only 10 or 12 people in it, but still 1 week is REALLY bad).

What's really funny is we relaunched it for week 2 & the guy that won the 1st pool was eliminated that next week.

IMO the first 4 weeks can be pretty brutal, especially the first two weeks.
