So let me get this straight...dude can spit on another guy but gets no discipline?  Another horrible decision by the NFL.

These designs and decisions are next level stuff.  Bravo to Cover 1 for such an excellent breakdown.

 

Couple things:

1.  JA17 is making split second decisions at the highest level I've ever seen and he's dead on every time.

2.  When people freak out about the running game (or lack thereof), it clearly shows they don't know what they're talking about.  There were really good holes on some of the plays here but the better choice was throwing the football for easy yards.

Allen's not necessarily willing to stay in the pocket and let plays develop downfield.  He often scrambles around to buy time to let plays develop downfield.

 

I'm not sure how that's even inferred to be a negative.  I mean...I know, most QBs couldn't do that, once they start running, their downfield passing suffers.  But Allen's playing at such a surreally high level, he doesn't have that issue.

notice his description of these plays as an "extension of the run game"

easy 7-9 yds,

no need to plug it up the middle consistently just to appease the run-the-ball crowd
