Defenseman rarely win because they don't put up sexy numbers.  

 

OP already looks better than say Erik Johnson.  He could really be something.

When they really need to try to come back late in a game, definitely.  But would prefer Power to get his own Samuelsson this off-season and have 1 of those 2 (Dahlin & Power) on the ice for 50 minutes each game.

 

That's what Anaheim did with Pronger and Neidermayer.

That's what Anaheim did with Pronger and Neidermayer.  

St Louis with Pronger/McGinnis.  It's far better to have 2 very capable 2-way defensemen separated for the majority of the game.  It's really a luxury to have even one...we're lucky AF to have two who will likely be around for 12-15 years.
