Just Joshin Posted November 4, 2020 Posted November 4, 2020 My wife is the queen of Christmas decorating. On Friday after Thanksgiving down come the Thanksgiving decorations and up go Christmas. It takes her about a week for inside/outside. 1 Quote
Ann Posted November 5, 2020 Posted November 5, 2020 After Thanksgiving, but this year I may do it sooner. For some reason, the older I get the longer it takes to decorate. Quote

Mahoney Posted November 5, 2020 Posted November 5, 2020 My wife was all over it in October. She made a "fall tree" with sunflower decorations. Suffice to say, by Noon on November 1st it was fully decorated for Christmas. I don't celebrate, but I do help with decorations. I handle all window projector effects. Which reminds me, I need to post some pics of those from Halloween in that thread... 1 Quote

B-Man Posted November 5, 2020 Posted November 5, 2020 I usually put ours up at the beginning of December. The new thing though, is that we leave it up for several months. Re-Decorate it for Valentine's day, Re-Decorate it for St. Patricks Day. Then take it down. 1 1 Quote

Eventually, she switched over to a small artificial tree for Valentine's and Easter. I am sure that was safer. 2 Quote

OTOH, artificial tress are made in China, and all proceeds go the CCP..hence artificial trees are a sign of a communist! 1 Quote
