But I've seen people at trade shows stand in a line for two hours in hopes of getting a t-shirt, so the idea that millions of people are giving all their personal and financial info to China for a $1.99 drone isn't surprising in the least. 

 

Reminds me of the time I came across hundreds and hundreds of 16-24 year olds being corralled into crowd control pens by SF cops at 8 in the morning on a weekday. A cop told me the site was a one day Kardashian make-up store. 

 

The silver lining being that anyone who would stand in line for two hours for a tee shirt or celebrity endorsed lipstick likely doesn't have much financial info worth stealing.
