Bronco's Depleted Secondary Prepares for Bills

Quote

Broncos coach Vic Fangio confirmed Duke Dawson and Kevin Toliver both sustained season-ending knee injuries against the Panthers, joining Bryce Callahan (foot, out at least one more game), Essang Bassey (torn ACL last week) and A.J. Bouye (suspended rest of season) on the list of unavailable cornerbacks against Buffalo.

“This is rare,” the 34-year NFL coaching veteran said, acknowledging the Broncos have an expedited timeline in front of them to get ready for quarterback Josh Allen, wideout Stefon Diggs and the rest of the Bills’ potent weapons.

While you never wanna see anyone get seriously injured, this is very good news for us.  Here's to a big day for Josh and the wideouts!

My philosophy is to feel sorry for the players, not sorry for the team.  I am not one of those who say that the victory will be diminished if the other team has injuries.

Some Tylenol and a Band-Aid, and Jaquan and Taron will be fine.

(Anyone who gets that joke should feel awful about themselves.)

Had a big delivery scheduled for last Wednesday at the warehouse but I missed out due to Covid.

Nobody in the NFC East can clinch a playoff berth this weekend?

The two obvious teams already clinched.  Everyone else is battling for scraps.

What does Lee Smith actually do, anyway?

Keeps Allen's jersey cleaner than Kroft.

I'm gonna suggest he does whatever the Bills want before he runs home as fast as he can to his wife.

I don't want to see Brown again in the regular season unless for some reason we have to beat the Fish.  Let that dude completely heal for the postseason.

I hope Taron Johnson gets back soon.  He's an important player on our defense.

Not totally upset about this.

I feel a ton of 4-wide sets coming.

i mean, what would they do? use some receivers if one of the three got hurt?

I would guess safeties first, then special teams WRs if necessary.
