The Athletic had a nice article on Heath Farwell, the BILLS' special teams coach.

"Part of the issue was holder/punter Corey Bojorquez not efficiently spinning the laces outward for Bass’ foot. Bojorquez turned 24 during the season, giving Buffalo the NFL’s youngest kicking duo."

They didn't allude to anything else in the article regarding Bass' early seasons struggles.

I only seem to recall one miss where the laces weren’t obviously wrong when watching the replay. Lately I haven’t noticed any issues with the laces, but I tend not to look for them when every kick is getting drilled right down the middle.

This isn’t directly related to Bass per se, but late in the game, maybe even on the Colts’ final drive the announcers were talking about how it wasn’t that windy for Buffalo, but that it was probably windy enough to affect Indy’s  kicker who kicks in a dome at home. A few seconds later they showed a camera angle with the goal posts in the background and the flags were sticking out horizontal. I thought that was kind of funny, and it also made me glad we have a guy who can kick in those conditions.

Unless it’s the hand that he uses to apply his eye black on game days, get a shot of lidocaine and rub some dirt on it. Hell, put a light weight cast on it and smack somebody on a K O return.

Kicker with a “hand” on the injury report. Where is General Patton when you could use him?
