"Hoodie never says anything in press conferences"

Dude goes off for 10 minutes on special team's specialists.  Pete Gogolak and Lou Groza references as well.  Love it.

He seemed to be very pleased in the moment.

Made me think of our own Paul Maguire who was our Middle Linebacker and Punter during the 60s.

Also, Pete Gogolak, The Bills placekicker on ‘64 and ‘65 the AFL Championship teams. Wellington Mara signed him away from The Bills during the tense and dicey pre-merger years. He went on to play for the Jints another eight years and was inducted into their Ring of Honor.

Ralph was so pissed at the poaching that he wanted to get back at the NFL. Lamar Hunt told him to shut up. “Don’t you see, he’s just made the merger inevitable.” Or words to that effect IIRC.

Gogolak was drafted by The Bills in the 12th round of the 1964 AFC Draft, but he went un-drafted in the separate NFL Draft that year.

So let him stick around and become a SB champion and then bring back the Punt God for next year and beyond.  Simple solution to a 1st world problem.  :classic_wink:

1) Where's he punting from, on average?  That's less a problem from the Bills 45 than it is from their 20.

2) He's actually having a slightly better year than last year.

3) I'm not going to worry about the punting game at all.  For me to be concerned about the punter's performance, the team would have to have much, much worse problems on offense than Josh Allen's footwork.

Some of those issues is coverage. He appears to be outkicking the coverage, which is not ideal.

with a 45 yd gross, if  he's outkicking the coverage, it's because the coverage sucks
