Based on?  Fitzpatrick has admitted that he's never really had QB coaching and basically just wings it.

I don't mean coaching Josh how to play/throw. More of a veteran who has been there and can offer support and guidance. Possibly help with defensive reads as well? 

 

Honestly the beard alone qualifys Fitz as his best backup. Think of the jokes these two would come up with!

Just look at what has happened to all of the starters he was slated to back up. He even said that's a reason he didn't want to sign in Buffalo to back up Josh.
