The question with knee injuries generally is lateral movement.  I'm not disagreeing with you in any way but I wanna see him cut at full speed because it's a far more valid test than what we're seeing here.

It'd be silly to think it's not at least a considered factor but Floyd is an excellent NFL pass rusher and for that money - he's a steal.

Bills have been pretty cautious about bring guys back from injury and I don't see that changing this year.   They need to be healthy at playoff time.
