With McCoach not letting Highmark show the Ravens/Lolphins score during the *Patriot game, I guess it's fair to question whether or not they will know the outcome of the one o'clock Jacksonville game. That said, being the game will end probably close to 4 hours before they play, I suppose it will be hard to prevent them from knowing the Jaguars' outcome. They most certainly will know the outcome of the Steelers game.

Realize that ties are improbable in the NFL nowadays.  But for getting into the playoffs, ties are a possibility and a tie in any of the 4 games is as good as a Bills win for becoming a WC (and equivalent to a Bills loss for winning the division in their own game).

 

For the division, there are 2 teams alive and the Bills trail.

 

For the WC, there are 5 teams competing for 2 slots (with 1 of those teams getting the AFC S title, so effectively there are 4 teams competing for the 2 slots but 2 of those 4 teams play each other (unless the Jags lose their game and then the Jags can't pass the Bills and one of those 2 teams playing each other get the AFC S title) so there are effectively 3 teams competing for 2 slots.  If any of those teams tie, then the tying team can't catch the Bills.  And the Bills can't be caught by tying.

To be fair, though this is an article by Graham, very little is his commentary. Most of it is just reporting McCourty's words.

They claim they're being honest, pointing out the Bills' flaws.  But they never are.  They're just bitchy.
