Rome Odunze’s grandfather Wayne taught him hard work, dedication, & discipline. Rome used what he learned from summers on his grandpa’s farm in Utah to find success on the field, but an unfortunate biking accident left Wayne blind. He never got to see @RomeOdunze play at  @UW_Football

 

 

. Biking was his escape, his exercise, & his getaway. It pains Rome that something his grandpa loved has impacted his life so greatly. Rome envisioned a different life of retirement for him. He thought he deserved more. Still he listens to every game, & the sounds of Rome’s achievements still ring loud in his living room.
