I'd say same. You could change the title to "2023 Weekly Rooting Interests", or something similar. I agree with you, it'll be a good chronicle of how our interests change throughout the season.

Same thread. Perhaps as the weeks change as mentioned, a title change with a page number for the new week. Love this type of thread though.

Realistically, the Jags are 1-0, KC 0-1, and I should pick the Jaguars. I can't do it. I still see the AFC as belonging to the Chiefs, and their starting at 0-2 is better for the Bills in the long run.

Same with the Bengals. They are the Bills' Achilles Heel. They need to lose early and lose often. I know I should pick the Bengals so both teams will go 1-1, but I think for the season, it is better for the Bills if Cincinnati loses early and loses often.

I picked Indy and Pittsburgh because the Bills play them this year, and if SOS applies, it could help.

Buffalo should be rooting against Kansas City every week. Same with Cincinnati. Unless Lamar reverts back to his MVP form, I think most people still agree the AFC will come down to either KAN, CIN, or BUF. Miami's offense looks lethal but odds are Tua won't make to the end of the season and their defense stinks. I can't get worried about the Jaguars at this point.

So, we seem to agree it is better for the Baltimore and Jax to go 2-0 than KC and Cincinnati to go 1-1.

Reading this only makes Monday's loss more painful.  A golden opportunity to get an early leg up on other favorites literally thrown away.  Sorry, I'm still as bitter as chewed aspirin.

Actually,  Aspirin is fine chewed. It is meant to be chewed. However chewed or swallowed causes my heart to go into overload. In fact today I had cinnamon in my Oatmeal this morning which contains salicylates just like Aspirin so my heart goes into "check mode" as I call it and tries to beat faster on my upper ventricles thus throwing things off. My point is this, life is too short to go on and on about a lost football game. There are important things in life like family and friends. Then there are things that really dont matter, like football. Dont run yourself into a grave over this man. Not worth it.
