The problem for the Bills is that there is plenty of competition out there for wide receivers.

 

That's why I want as many Quarterbacks, Tackles, and defensive players to go before us as possible.

I am warming to the idea of getting the best possible Receiver, so we could have a #1 receiver under the Rookie pay scale.

I’m sure he’ll move around where he sees value, however now that we’re into Josh’s second contract, the rookie contracts that come from the draft become even more valuable in terms of building a roster that can fit under the cap.

 

Especially as guys like Groot and Brown get closer to their second contracts.

I'll argue we need most of those picks. I

f we want to trade I'd prefer giving up the extra #2 next year. Figure 2 - WRs, 2 - DBs at least, perhaps 3 due to losses at both safety and CB, other probable picks at RB, OL (especially center) and DL (especially DT) and last year showed us how important depth is at LB. I look forward to seeing Bernard and Milano together but what do we have left now if one of them goes down. 

I think for the most part we're pretty set for starters though a WR and stiff competition at safety would be nice but our depth/developmental took a huge hit

Hope so, they seemed to hold him back so maybe you're right. I know some were happy with Dodson play but he missed more plays than he made and i kept screaming at the TV to let Williams sink or swim

Williams' biggest weakness last year was the acclimation to the pro game. Armed with the understanding of pro schemes, he is going to be really, really good. The problem is, we have Bernard and Milano in a 2-man LB scheme. It is, however, a good problem to have. Williams' play is going to force Babich and McDermott to figure out ways to get him on the field.
