Week 14: BILLS vs Steelers : The Aftermath

The Bills haven't had a player as good as Diggs since Bruce/TT/Reed left.  I've just kind been numb to that reality while watching great players on other teams all these years.

Hell yeah!! Great 3rd quarter!

Yeah for as slow as the first quarter was for the offense, the third quarter was wonderful (for both sides of the ball)

Just looking over the schedule. How cool it is that Game 16 with the Fins may be meaningfull and just to Squish the fish if nothing else. Could be for home field advantage

God these games are awesome.  So relaxing!!!

Like last week, we gave away 7 points after a fumble / short field and not much else after that. This was a really good test. Pittsburgh was playing very good in the first half and we hung with them and then pulled away comfortably in the second half.

Inquiring minds want to know: did we look outclassed tonight?

They have really evolved as a team, even from the start of the year.  I was pretty nervous in the first half when they couldn't get anything going and it looked like they were just hanging on.  But they made the adjustments and figured out a plan to attack in the second half and then executed nearly flawlessly.  The defense has made steady progress and if they can continue, there is no team they can't play with in the playoffs.

Now, let's wrap up this division ASAP.

I'm very impressed at how well they adjusted after looking lost for most of the first half.  That has not been a hallmark of this coaching staff but they were spot on tonight.  Considering the degree of difficulty, tonight was even more impressive than last week.
