RochesterRob
The best tailgating food I ever had was meatballs prepared by my BIL's sister. Usually a tailgate for me means burgers and hot dogs. I have made and taken beef stew that was delicious. One time it was a bare minimum effort with tomato soup out of a thermos and tuna salad sandwiches. That was at the home game against Miami in 2007 with my wife the only other person with me.
Wacka
Best tailgate I was at was before and after the AFC Championship game (51-3). We always tailgated with my cousin and her family. All the people we both knew also were around us. At least 10 cars. Had so much food we couldn't even sample all of it. Had schnapps we snuck into the stadium (which we started drinking at the half and tons of beer and champagne on the lot.

Nanker
Stuffies are a NE specialty. I’ll post a recipe soon. It uses quahogs (hard shell clams) that are chopped, onion, peppers, linguisa, onions, broth and some spices and then baked. They’re a little like clams casino. Linguisa is a Portuguese sausage and there’s quite a Portuguese cultural influence in NE. Lots of Portuguese in New Bedford and the Cape and Islands. There is a real Brazilian influence here as well with the Portuguese connections.
