That's a hell of a difference in atmospheric winds between the altitudes where the clouds and the ejecta plume are.  Plus...running it back a few times, it looks like the patterns in the ejecta plume repeat with time. 

 

Leads me to believe the video is faked.

West Sehneca quake was a 3.8  at Mineral springs and Indian church Roads  at 6:15 AM. Just 2miles south of me.

I heard on the radio this morning in an interview with a Syrian Civil Defense person (a "White Helmet" they call them) that the regime isn't letting any aid into that area of Idlib and Aleppo.  And the aid normally flows through Turkey -- but nothing has come through to NW Syria so far.   Not good, if true.

It's a region - that whole crescent of mountains from the Taurus range through the Caucasus through Iran - that's prone to bad earthquakes, and has buildings that are either old, or built to very low construction standards.  Very deadly earthquakes like this happen every decade or two - Tabas in 1978, Rasht in 2000, Baravat in 2008, Izmit 1999.

 

This isn't anything unusual, sadly.
