Fun fact: alligators have a lot of bite force - the muscles for biting are very strong.  But the muscles for opening the mouth are very week.  So if you manage to get a gator's mouth closed and hold it closed, you're pretty safe (as long as it's not some 12-foot 2000lb monstrosity that can fall on you and kill you).

If you watch "professional" alligator wrestlers, you'll see that's what they do.  Thrash around and make things look dramatic...but they're always holding the alligator's mouth shut.

What's more impressive is the guy is walking barefoot on pavement in October in FLA.  Realize it's not like walking on it in July down there, but the pavement can get seriously hot mid-afternoon (judging by the shadows) even in the fall there.

No thank you to that.  Like having 10 toes.

I lived in South Florida for ~20 years. That's one of the many reasons I hate the Dolphins so much.

Lighter-colored pavement is generally okay. Black pavement = foot death. As kids, we used to balance on the painted stripes in a parking lot and RUN through the areas that weren't painted. Our feet would still burn. If we were smarter, we would have worn shoes. 🤷‍♂️

My Uncle Bosley walked on pavement barefoot in the summer sun once.  Ended up so badly burned he lost a foot.

(Okay, it was uncle Gene.  And he had a degenerative neurological disease similar to ALS so that he had no feeling in his feet at the time.  Otherwise...yeah.  :classic_sad:)

It's right between the amusement park and the sewage treatment plant.

Looks to be one place where you get your picture taken Inbetween the two poles on the sign...
