Just before kickoff they could play this at the game. Tasker could come out and say “light the fuse”.  Nobody would know what the heck that was about, but they’d be going insane anyhow.

I really thought we blitzed a lot more than that in that second game. Mac was clearly on his heals the entire game and whatever we did then, we need to do it again!

He has never played in the cold he is going to experience tonight. I think his arm might literally fall off.

I expect them to try and establish the run initially, which is why I'd like to see us use a 4-3 base.  If they pass, send in a LB on a blitz.

THAT would be so amazing! But he may have heard Bart Scott advice to Josh to try Viagra to help with circulation and if he did, it could be his d*** freeze off instead? :hysterical:

Same here, we need Klein on the field more this game. But on the blitz, I think we do better when we come from all directions, even threaten an all out blitz (and bring it from time to time) to keep the kid off balance.

Yep, we will definitely try and confuse the rookie. Probably have a few new looks to help facilitate that.

Kurt Warner did a great job of breaking down Mac and how to best defend him.

Mac, as everyone knows, loves to check down. Warner pointed out that while this is generally a strength in the McDaniels offense, that Mac has a strong tendency to check down *too fast* when he feels any pressure at all. This takes away the ability of New England to get chunk yardage through the air, and relegates them to needing to sustain long drives piling up short-medium range plays.

That approach doesn’t leave much room for error at all, and when error occurs, and Belichick finds himself several scores behind against a Josh Allen offense, it will force him to put the game into Mac’s hands. That’s not where he wants the game to be.

While stiff arms are generally legal and a big part of the game, I wonder if flags will be thrown if tacklers for some reason can't get their arms around a guy's waist that's called "17".

In the second game we got out to a nice lead but the Pats still tried to stick to their run first game plan. To me anyway, that proved they didn't trust Mac to throw against a defense like ours and when they did try, we proved to them it was a mistake.

The key is of course going to be, get in front quickly and stay there. Don't try to beat Billichek at his own game by running the ball but do what our offense does best, throw the ball to set up for the run.

With that said, I have no idea which officiating crew we have tonight but it sure as hell had better not be the same one from the first game. If it is, it's just as good as spotting the Patriots about 14 points
