Two things:

There is no way SF was going to let JG throw downfield, so GB foolishly taking TOs at the end gave SF two extra plays.

As much as I like Rodgers, the difference between he and Brady has always been that Rodgers lacks the killer instinct.  It’s almost like he tunes out the tighter the game gets.  They will talk about special teams for days, but you just don’t win if you only score 10 points.

The worst part is that I know that every low rent no Dick douchebag sports writer has a stiffy right now because the one guy in sports with the balls to tell them to &#%$ off just lost. That he lost mostly because his special teams shit the bed is just salt in the wound.

And GB kept allowing SF to throw to the middle of the field late in the game.

Rodgers has always been more concerned with personal achievements then team success. If the play isn’t perfect he won’t try to get the pass in. Sure this means you almost never throw an INT, but some of those tight windows end up winning you a game. I will take some INTs and the heart of a champion any day. 17 years there and one SB with his talent falls on him.

Packers only had 10 men on the field for the final FG play?

One guy had given up already. We surrender! Think Packers = France.

What are the odds GB's special teams coach has a job after today?

It can't get worse than having the TV team let everyone know that the 49ers saw a kink in the armor of the GB special teams at the precise moment the GB special teams is responsible for a #1 seed to lose at home...in the Frozen Phyckjin Tundra, no less...

This sentence can have a weird effect on the reader.

Quote

Tannehill became just the second QB since 1991 to throw an interception on his first pass attempt of both halves of a playoff game, joining HOFer Jim Kelly in Super Bowl XXVI.

But Tanny also threw one on his last attempt of the day!

Man, what an ugly day for QBs.

Today should feature two very close games.
TB has o-line issues, but Brady is the equalizer.

The Bills and Chiefs could switch offenses and hardly anybody would notice.

I'm kinda hoping to stomp Brady in Super Bowl but an easy 49ers Super Bowl would also be awesome:popcorn3:

That's similar to what Rodgers said.

They have Nick Bosa, Deebo and Kittle & Bits, same players Josh faced last time.

Rogers picked a really bad day to play like shit.  There were plays available to him (his last throw he completely ignored a WIDE OPEN 13 over the deep middle for what woulda been at least a 30 yard gain, instead make a very low percentage throw to Adams against double coverage).

GB beat themselves.  While SF's running game is very good, all we'd have to do is put up some early points to get Jimmy G into the game and the SB win writes itself.

Wasn't Bosa out that day?
