#Chiefs Superfan “Chiefsaholic” has pleaded guilty to bank robbery, money laundering, and transporting stolen property across state lines, per @NBC

He faces up to 50 years in prison when he is sentenced. And is required to pay $532,000 in restitution.

He will also forfeit an autographed painting of Patrick Mahomes.

Don't you love it when someone who doesn't know football, tries to beef up a speech with football phrases he obviously just Googled?

Oh boy he's gonna receive the balls, hopefully he doesn't fumble!

Not sure the exact number that this "70%" is based on, but:

Three.  Seriously, it's in the article.  Three.

70% of three people.  So two...and one-tenth people.  I guess that one-tenth person had a hell of a lot amputated.

You're making an assumption that the 3 people who were transported to the hospital from the game for frostbite were the ones that % is based on (and that no one who may have later sought treatment are involved). It's still going to be a very small number, and very well may be 3, but no, it's not stated in the article with clarity.

Quote

“The patients who had their frostbite injuries along with the Chiefs game, they are just getting to the point now we are starting to discuss their amputations that might be necessary,” Garcia said Tuesday, explaining that 70% of the patients referred for frostbite injuries suffered earlier this year are now being advised to schedule amputations.

The answer lies in how many "patients referred for frostbite injuries" there were, which is not explained.

I'm standing by "three."  For the simple reason that that article deserves to be that stupid.

So if one-tenth of a person rolled a die what are the odds, ah nevermind.

Yes, but did all 3 receive 70% of their bodies amputated or 70% of the whole? So little infomation for so large of a story.

17% over all amputations.  Because those 3 people used to be 3.5...

Yeah, really, get it right.

EVERYBODY KNOWS that the Jest win the off-season pretty much every year.  But by week 3 that title has shifted to the Fishies.  They've won at least the last 3 Superbowls held on week 3 and believe that they have once again built a juggernaut that can withstand the rigors of weeks 1 and 2 to still be standing at the end of that all important very critical 3rd week of the season.

Still expecting the Bills even with all the FA / trade losses to be the team to beat from the AFC East come January.

(Tried to figure out a way to work the Cheats into this picture somehow but can't figure a way for them to have a happy ending even prematurely. 😉  )

Last time the Jets didn't win the off-season was when - and because - they drafted Blair Thomas.
