He's 11th in the League and that number will keep dropping.  It's a fair contract.

That's the key.  In two years it'll look like a bargain.

 

Allen is now the 8th highest paid QB.  And that's still with Burrow, Herbert, Tua (?), and Lawrence on deck.

Exactly.  People have also been ignoring the fact that until last season he'd never played with an above-average 1-tech, and of course he had an ankle problem in the first game of the season that likely bothered him all year.  For a guy whose greatest strength is his "get off", that's a devastating injury.

I was really hoping that he'd break out last year.

I expect him to break out this year, as long as he's healthy.
