Who will help the Bills most, CB Rasul Douglas or RB Leonard Fournette ?

Really like the Rasul Douglas pick up. I believe he is under contract this year and next, So he is our CB#1 going forward.

Not sure how Tre White will rebound. Benford and Jackson are best suited as CB#2 at best. T Johnson is a committed NCB now.

I really am happy with this move.

Fournette, why not? He may be able to step in for Harris. If not, at least they tried and have Murray to spell Cook some.

I remember the beating Frank Gore took on these boards when signed by Buffalo.

Way to old, beat up, lost a step, a real waste of money and a depth player only

Gore was a Bill during the 2019 season.

This board came into existence during the 2020 season.

To be honest I wasn't referring to this particular board

I would suggest better phrasing, like on message boards.

You did say "These" board's. To be honest. Typical Dirty Rat.

The way I see it at the moment, Douglas will be a starter as soon as he learns the playbook and maybe sooner, while barring injury Fournette is unlikely to see the field as the #4 RB. It would be shocking to me if Fournette had the bigger impact. If I’m wrong It’ll either be a huge indictment of Douglas, or a huge testament to Fournette. I’m fine with being wrong as long as it’s for the latter reason.

I love when people start threads asking for opinions and then jump on anyone that has a different one than theirs. It’s so…ATOP.

So, my answer is Douglas. He will be a starter. Fournette will be the third stringer.

Yes Douglas has a contract through '24-'25 season, but $9 million next year.  Hopefully he's really good and Beane can extend and reduce cap number for '24.

Someone needs to tell him it isn't getting better anytime soon...

Hmm, Baton Rouge --> Jacksonville --> Tampa Bay --> Buffalo.  Why would he think it's cold in Buffalo in November?

(Agreed, if he's cold now, can't wait to see what he's trying to keep warm when they're hosting games in the playoffs.)
