I noticed this on the broadcast. When he turned his hand perpendicular to the camera angle, you could see how puffy it really was.

On the broadcast before he ran off to the lockerroom they showed his last pass before the TD.  The defender taking his 1 step after the pass got to him and as he tackled him he grabbed the wrist and it got slammed onto the turf.
