Before he left Michigan State via the transfer portal last year saw a lot of his games.  He was far and away the biggest part of their passing game.

 

They definitely hated to lose him.  He won't take the top off any defenses, but he'll get open and he catches everything.

He looked slow in the highlights I watched.  He doesn't separate.  His only plus IMO is he is big and can bring down contested passes.

Certainly if that's a weak spot in his game, they'll coach him up.  He hasn't even reached his 21st birthday yet.  He can learn and improve plenty given his youth.

It was interesting listening to Sabin talking about instinctive players. He said you can coach repetition but instincts are just innate to an individual. Let's hope this kid has talent.
