The Browns are shooting themselves in the foot.  It is not a guarantee they land Deshaun Watson.  Plus, who in their right mind will give the kind of price that the Texans want for Deshaun Watson?  I get he's good and all, but a team will be left in a big hole for years to come just to get a guy who may have sexually assaulted women (if it happened once, it will likely happen again) and hasn't played at all this past season.

Imagine Watson choosing to play in Cleveland over a town like New Orleans? Heck, even Atlanta or Charlotte are more likely. And since he has to approve where he’s traded, Cleveland would be shocking.

Just saw your post above about Haslam being the driving force to acquire Watson.  If I was a Browns fan, I wouldn't like this at all.  Kind of like being a Dolphins fan with Stephen Ross as the owner.  Not a lot of good comes with having an activist owner.  Having owners like the Pegulas certainly has its plusses.
