But what's the water usage?  Real beef uses a hellacious amount of land and water.  It's why I cut my cheeseburger intake from 3x/week to "Whenever PETA does something extraordinarily stupid."

So...  daily?

Edit: Yes, I understand you said 'extraordinarily stupid'. That's about once a day with those morons.

What could go wrong?

EU Looks Into Blocking Out the Sun as Climate Efforts Falter

Quote
The European Union will join an international effort to assess whether large-scale interventions such as deflecting the sun’s rays or changing the Earth’s weather patterns are viable options for fighting climate change.

The bloc will announce a framework Wednesday for assessing the security implications of a rapidly warming planet, such as the potential for scarce water or food to trigger conflict and migration, according to a draft document seen by Bloomberg. Part of that assessment includes studying the potential dangers of re-engineering the atmosphere. ...

Re-engineering the atmosphere...

You also have to also wonder what the pieces do for the immediate environment, how do you possible clean it all up?

Didn't the machines in "The Matrix" do it also?

No. We scorched the sky to deprive the machines of solar energy.

The climate disaster is man-made -- and that's bad. So let's have man-made solutions -- and that's good.

It's too late anyway.  Global warming caused the end of the world already, in 2012...and 2017...and 2021, and just a few weeks ago.

Re-engineering the atmosphere...

This isn't new, btw.  Been discussed for maybe 20 years.

One of the most popular ideas is to inject sulfur dioxide into the atmosphere...which is heavily ironic, given the major efforts to remove sulfur dioxide from the atmosphere back in the '80s.  If you needed any more proof that environmental engineers don't really know what they're doing...well, there you go.

A nice erupting volcano or two is just what the doctor ordered.
