Crap Throwing Clavin

Because...it's already starting.

https://www.cnbc.com/2023/04/11/president-biden-announces-chicago-site-of-the-2024-dnc-convention.html#:~:text=“Chicago is a great choice, not from the top down.”

Quote

...Biden said in a statement. “Democrats will gather to showcase our historic progress including building an economy from the middle out and bottom up, not from the top down.”

Uh...what, now?  Gutting the middle class with inflation is building an economy from the "middle out?"

I think that was the switch hitting Katie Hill.

She...

In 2019 Porter made waves by wearing a 'Batgirl' costume to the House floor to vote for Donald Trump's first impeachment inquiry, and in 2023 she was pictured reading 'The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F***' during the heated speaker's vote.

I doubt it matters what the actual voters want. 😞

Most Republicans would say that about any Democrat.

The important number is: what percentage of Democrats say that?

I have always been told that the Republican officials (“elites”) hate their base. I believe that is true.

It's no different with the Democrat officials.

The elite hate us useless eaters. We are nothing more than a necessary evil to them.

Deranged Rhino

That's the nicest way to say "cheat" since "fortifying the election".

And it's why this coming election will come down to lawfare and ballot harvesting - not your vote, not my vote, not anyone's vote.

But we are the "defenders of democracy worldwide!"

Truly! Believe it!

Not even "cheat."  The NYT is unironically reporting their unconditional support as a "structural advantage."

Tucker Carlson for President? It's being floated.

This former Republican strategist believes Tucker Carlson could be the GOP’s 2024 presidential nominee (msn.com)

The Lincoln Project's Rick Wilson, a former GOP strategist and scathing critic of former President Donald Trump and the MAGA movement, has not been bullish on Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis as a 2024 presidential candidate

Wilson told The Guardian, "Tucker is one of the very small number of political celebrities in this country who has the name ID, the personal wealth, the stature to actually declare and run for president — and in a Republican primary run in the same track Donald Trump did: the transgressive, bad boy candidate, the one who lets you say what you want to say, think what you want to think, act how you want to act, no matter how grotesque it is. Among Republicans, he's a beloved figure. He's right now in the Republican universe a martyr — and there ain't nothing they want more than a martyr."

Wilson is no fan of Tucker Carlson. Once very active in the GOP, the Never Trump conservative believes his former party took a dangerously authoritarian turn with Trump's 2016 campaign and the rise of the MAGA movement. And Wilson views Carlson as one of the leading promoters of MAGA ideology.

It might be just enough to suck me in from the apolitical sidelines once again.
