?? Those are the possible outcomes. It is most likely Buffalo ends up the 2 seed, 6 or 7 seed.  They can’t end up #1, 3 or 4. Ending up 5 is extremely unlikely.

100% correct until Pittsburgh. We all want a Pittsburgh loss.

 

1) Any loss by a team 'in the hunt' is good, especially a well coached team that won't go away. As a Bills fan I want no part of the Pittsburgh Defense, and whoever is playing lucky lotto at QB. My nightmare is a Mitch Trubisky or Mason Rudolph team knocking the Bills out of the playoffs.

 

2) it messes with the NFC side of things more. Seattle isn't great, but outside of the Rams and the runner up in the NFC East, what other NFC team could create chaos on that side?

It's a long shot, but IF the Colts & Texans tie, then the Bills would, in a worst case be 10-7 while both Indy and Houston would be 9-7-1.

 

Pittsburgh would move ahead of Buffalo also at 10-7 and the Jags would win the South.  AFC would be: Ravens, Fish, KC/Jags, Jags/KC, Browns, Pitt, Buffalo.
