It doesn’t matter how much you dominate the stats if you:

1) Leave 17+ points on the field

2) The refs are hell bent on favoring your opponent

3) Have spent the last half century finding new and creative ways to lose huge games in spectacular fashion.

Agreed.  Had they been 8-3 or 9-2 like they should have been, this loss is much easier to take.

That’s what, four losses on games they had right in their hands in the last minute?  Unbelievable.

Truthfully all loses they had hurts because in the fashion they lost them that is what is so hard to absorb

Anyone listen to the presser?

If there is any silver lining to tonight's loss, it is that it was against the NFC.

We have to regroup during the bye and beat the Chiefs in week 14.

People ask if you want Allen to have the ball at the end of a game to try to win it. Fair question, and before this season most people would say yes.

Same question is fair of McDermott.  Do you want him as your coach to win a game in the last 2 minutes?

Any answer other than yes means he has to go.

Id take almost any other HC in that situation.

Could have had two plays and two timeouts with :20 left, but nope, more important to ‘ice’ a veteran, pro bowl caliber kicker before a 60 yard FG attempt.

McDermott is the George Costanza of coaches.  Every instinct is wrong.

AFC

1 - Kansas City Chiefs (8-3): AFC North

2 - Jacksonville Jaguars (8-3): AFC South

3 - Miami Dolphins (8-3): AFC East

4 - Baltimore Ravens (8-3): AFC North

5 - Pittsburgh Steelers (7-4): Wild card

6 - Cleveland Browns (7-4): Wild card

7 - Indianapolis Colts (6-5): Wild card

In the mix:

Houston Texans (6-5)

Denver Broncos (6-5)

Buffalo Bills (6-6)

Cincinnati Bengals (5-6)

Las Vegas Raiders (5-7)

Los Angeles Chargers (4-6)

very small silver lining imo. This is

the current position. Looks to me a steep hill to climb.

Maybe i wasn’t joking? 🤔

Belichick would be different than McD.  Probably better in some aspects and not better in others.

4-1 down the stretch will probably get them in, but even if that happens, the task of winning the AFC championship is gigantic as a low seed that probably had to burn through enormous physical and mental energy just to get there.

Here is the interesting take head coach yes is accountable but imo not just him the player need to execute and be focused in the game. Ref certainly did not help but racking up penalty yards not in this game but also other does not help. Seem to me bills are battling three fronts 1) refs  2) coaching and 3) player. Allen played almost clean game of it were not for that interception. He can’t do it by himself the others have to catch make-able throws and drop passes. So obvious Allen is really talented and unfortunate imo he doesn’t have a stronger supporting cast imo
