The comments are telling. I hope everyone who was bearing the drum for Beane to mortgage the farm for this guy reads this.

New York… you have a problem. A BIG problem.

What an absolute @sshole. For Tepper to remove another mans hat like that? Must be nice to be a billionaire.

Where I come from its a good chance he would be a billionaire needing teeth work.

Full details not available yet, but there's rumored to be a $6m in incentives for dumping Taylor Swift, increasing to $10m if she writes a song about it. [/NFL Marketing Department]

The only one that surprises me is Harris.

But, that is the fate of today's NFL running back. So not quite as surprising.

Woof. After all the hype in any big QB draft -- like we saw last week -- this is what it can turn into just a few years later.

It's also what happens when you are desperate and forced to draft a QB (insert EJ Manuel flashbacks here).  There was a lot of noise about the Falcons pick, but I kept thinking of the Packer strategy.  If you see your next QB, you take him even if he's going to sit on the bench for 2-3 years.

We used to be a country, a proper sports country!

A clip of CBS's NFL football intro from 1977 has gone viral as fans joke that every highlight included in the reel would be a penalty today - or even a suspension!

Football fans are salivating over the intro reel that shows "just what made football, football" and why the sport became so popular to begin with.

I wasn't even close to being born in 1977

I remember the BILLS being tied to Zaven Collins and how many people at ATOP really wanted him.

That makes Treylon Burks available for pretty much nothing.
