It appears now the draft plans are clear and not a surprise imo bills going for reciever. Beane should consider trading up to get one imo

My guess is they draft at least 2.  As someone pointed out, there are always WR gems late in the draft.

IF we go up I want to go up enough to get a guy with very few questions about him.  Normally, I am a stay put kind of guy as opposed to moving significantly up but this year in my mind is the exception.  I don't want a fall off by Josh because we took too big a risk on a guy that "should" pan out but ultimately did not.  The more I think about it the more I think that the Bills should at least look into Jefferson because it will cost a lot to move up into the top 10.

and be in a similiar spot as they just wer in a year or so. they need to get

Jefferson is almost due a new contract and is most likely going to get a very large contract.

And he’d be worth it.  He’s much better than stef.

Bills will have tons of cap space next year.

This would be sorted out before Beane would agree to a trade.  I get wanting players on rookie deals but we have a QB in his prime to make good use of.  I don't want to waste three years only to find some guy we drafted midway through the first is not an every down player.

Currently project 5,807.523 on cap space for 2025

Will he be worth it ... Probably.

This is not wht Whaley regime.

 Tremaine Edwards # 16 day 1 starter,

Greg Rousseau # 30 consitsant player

23 Kair Elam, the one late first round that the book is till out on

I left out top 10 picks on purpose becuase we all know how those went.

Onalim is the one that is questionable

Over the last 4 seasons this was the #1 most productive QB & WR1/2 in the NFL. And by a very wide margin. It was a significant part of the team's success and it will be impossible to replicate. Just a HUGE hole for the team to fill.

You live in hope.

How many years left on his rookie deal?

Not enough.

Go get one in the first round and you've got him for 5 years.  It is a better option even if the guys is not quite as good as Jefferson.

And that doesn’t take into account releasing Von at the end of the season as well as some of the other older players and the increase.

How many WR's are close to Jefferson in terms of potential?  3?   Fate might decide it is not meant to be but I would try to go up from 11 or 12 if the cost was a 2nd, 4th, maybe a 6th, and a player.  Would the players taken with the 4th and 6th picks have close to the potential of a high 1st round pick such as Nabers?   The aggregate cost to move up from 28 including our 1st and Minn's 2025 2nd might be less than the 2nd, 4th, 6th, and player previously mentioned.

A few days ago it was around 60 million dollars but no doubt things have taken place since then to change the amount.

Hi RochesterRob. Love the name btw. My thought was go for Marvin Harrison jr. I know that is aiming high and would cost a lot. But think Marvin Harrison jr seems to have it all. Just my my reason for gambling is Allen will be 28 at his prime and let’s get him a down field option. What scares me is when you mortgage something like this the defense does not get the help. There are holes in defense that needs addressing as well. Anyways just my opinion

I was thinking a bit about this today....a very little bit. Perhaps we use the 2nd round traded pick to move back up in the 2nd?
