Don't we want HOU to win to get a higher draft pick for Phins?

Yes, but we want Tennessee to lose and Indy to win to get higher playoff seeding.

Not to mention, Houston will be left playing the final games with the equivalent of retired people from some NYC nursing homes. They gave Miami a pair of aces and a King for Tunsil,  and whatever Houston does to end the year will barely decide what suit the aces are. They're still a pair of aces to go with the one in their hand already.

Texans are one of 6 teams with 4 wins.  One more win than that group would be a big jump.

That trade is just mind boggling.  How in the world do you give up 2 firsts and a second for Tunsil and Kenny friggin' Stills?

Excellent point.  Add to that Kenny Stills' contract and you have a real head scratcher.  Stills is at like $700k+ per TARGET this season.

Bill O'Brien is the Adam Gase of personnel decisions.

Jesus, i still cant believe the Bills lost to that idiot last year!

give Tunsil credit, he may smoke some weed, but he sure as chit smart as hell. He understood the situation, knew BOB was stuck...so negotiated his own deal, no agent!!!! As Andrew Brandt often says, Tunsil definitely won at the business of football!

Either one of these trades, taken alone, would set a franchise back for years.

Beane stood pat at the trade deadline and this team keeps playing better.
(Although Carlos Dunlap could have been a good addition)

From the color map it looks like you will get it.

Most of Arizona blacked out from the late CBS game is strange.  All the other three teams cities playing in that late Fox window gets the CBS game.  Probably has something to do with Sunday Ticket.

I think the rule is something about you can’t have a game on opposite the home team in their primary market. Maybe it doesn’t apply to LA because they have 2 teams?

Contracts prevent running a game opposing the local team.   Was much stricter in the past, though.  Until the last few years, Jets & Giants never played at the same time.

This is why I was worried about not getting the game opposite the Jets.

I thought that was the reason too but am confused to why the local markets for the Rams, Jets, and Eagles do get that late CBS late game.
